Safety rules for the installation of infrared floor

When installing an infrared floor, certain safety rules must be followed. The power of the infrared floor consumption is calculated by its maximum power – 210 watts. A warm floor can be both the main and auxiliary source of heating. For the main heating of the apartment, a warm floor is used with an area of at least 70% of the total floor surface.

40% of the warm floor is enough to organize auxiliary heating. Warm floor is not recommended to be installed near other heating devices. All connections and sections are insulated with a special mastic tape. Some manufacturers to increase security require the use of clamps only their own production. When using carpet or linoleum, the heating film is covered with plywood or wood -fiber slabs. If there is a ceramic tile with the finish coating, then the infrared film should be covered with a plastering alkaline -resistant net. The laying of the finish coating must be done carefully in order to prevent damage to the heating material. In order not to damage the film, the marking of fasteners and the harvesting of the flooring must be done in advance.
