Plaster for applying the wall to the basement of the mosaic recruited from small pebbles. The basis of such plaster is the resin and natural (natural) or synthetic small crumb of stone, painted in different colors. This mixture has very high characteristics of resistance to mechanical damage and the effect of moisture on it. Such high resistance provides, first of all, resin based on acrylic mastic. Like the application of Venetian plaster, and the application of mosaic plaster has its subtleties.
It is thanks to this component that the coating does not absorb moisture and at the same time allows moisture, they evaporate from the surface. Such plaster can be washed with aggressive substances and even stubbornly rub – this will not affect the coating. The resin also has high elasticity, which allows plaster on its basis to perceive mechanical damage and shocks more elastic. Plaster is distributed by type, relative to the crumb fraction. The shallowness of the crumb can be from 2 mm to 3 mm inclusive. The most popular for finishing the basement is plaster with a 2 mm fraction. Small -grained coating is mainly used to finish the interior. The color of the mosaic can be very diverse, since it is achieved by selecting painted crumbs of different of different color palettes.
