During construction, a material such as foam is often used. At a price, such material is available to almost any layer of the population, so it is widely used both in construction and in the interior decoration of the room. You can also use foam to repair the ceiling. In order to glue the ceiling surface, use foam tiles. Its dimensions, like the size of ordinary tiles, are fifty to fifty centimeters. You can lay the foam tile in two ways. – Laying in a straight line. You put the tile, starting from one edge of the ceiling to another, going parallel to the walls. – Laying diagonally. With this type of styling, you start from the center and move to the edges, while if necessary, you can cut the tiles that go from the edge if they do not fit in size.
Before pasting the ceiling with these tiles, first clean its surface from the old design: plaster. Then grind it. If the old plaster is not removed, then the foam can be exfoliated after a few days of use. A special glue is usually used for laying tiles, but this is not necessarily. You can make a solution that will be no worse than glue to perform the function. Mix putty, water and PVA. Apply this mixture to the tile over the entire surface, and then attach it to the ceiling. After two or three hours, as soon as the glue dries completely, work out the seams and wipe them with a damp cloth.
