The first part of the construction of the new zoological park Sri Lanka is approaching the completion. The place of its location was chosen by the territory near the elephant nursery in Pinnvel. The zoo will accept the first visitors in mid -October.
A little earlier, the presentation of the Zoological Park to local residents and arriving travelers was scheduled for April of this year. This zoo will become the second Park on Sri Lanka, where many unique animals will live. After the first part of the complex is opened, guests will be able to see lovely living creatures that live in this region.
In the second part of the park, the construction of which is currently ongoing, the administration decided to collect animals from different world countries and continents.
At the moment, the first part of the zoological park has specialized aviaries, buildings for the work of the administration and several ponds. Small cafes are also equipped in which visitors will be able to eat or purchase a bottle of chilled water. According to the expectations of the Sri Lanka authorities, this zoo, built in Pinnvel, will become a new attraction that will attract a large number of tourists and travelers, thereby replenishing the state treasury.
